UC San Francisco is preparing for a one-day strike, which will begin Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. and end at 11:59 p.m.
As we have stated, we respect our employees' rights to representation and freedom of speech. At UCSF, we have a responsibility to serve the needs of our patients and students in support of our health care, education and research mission. And although UCSF is taking steps to minimize disruptions to services during the strike, we expect that some services will be affected as a result.
As always, UCSF’s top priority is to ensure the safety and security of the entire UCSF community, including patients and visitors, and the continuity of its operations, especially patient care.
Please look to this page for updates on expected strike impacts on patient care and campus services.
