UCSF has received notice that the University Professional and Technical Employees (UPTE) and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) will hold a 24-hour strike beginning at midnight on Tuesday, April 1, and ending at 11:59 p.m. UCSF expects to sustain critical operations across the campus and health system during the strike.
